This is my room in Oak Lawn with friends Suzanne Boyle, Bill Park, Donna Pote, and Raymond Rossel, our foreign exchange student from Switzerland.
And here’s my prom photo from 1969 at the Willowbrook Ballroom. Forget what the theme was. I made my dress. I remember it was too cool 
to get your shoes dyed to match your dress! Jimmy Johansen was my date, class of ‘69. We were good friends through forensics. I always thought it was pretty funny that I never had a boyfriend in high school but went to two proms — I went with Raymond in ‘70!
