Help Karen in Relay for Life

relayforlife_logo_140Karen Bruck is asking for our help. You remember Karen, who was in treatment for breast cancer when Class of ‘70 alumnus John died from the disease. She is committed to raising $5,000 and as team captain of Karen’s Bosom Buddies, is shooting for a team goal of $20,000. Here’s how you can help…“There isn’t a day that I don’t think or do something that involves Relay or the American Cancer Society. I embrace this cause because it keeps me close to what my life was before cancer. . . before losing John. . . before battling the disease myself. I have a desire and a need to do all I can for the American Cancer Society because they do so much for people who are experiencing the same things I did. They are working to find cures, but more importantly, they are taking care of those being touched now.”

No donation is too small — the couple of bucks you spend on coffee today, or the $20 you’d spend going to the movies. Every dollar counts.

Please send your donation (make checks payable to the American Cancer Society) to: Mrs. Karen Bruck, 6612 W. 103rd St., Chicago Ridge, 60415.

If you have any questions, call Karen at (708) 229-9888.

The American Cancer Society is a 501 (c)(3) public charity. Tax ID 13-6128447.
